Gold & Silver at the National Building & Construction Awards
EHA walked away with two new shinning awards at the National Building and Construction Awards.
Held near London Tower Bridge, the awards are hailed as one of the best in the UK Construction industry.
EHA was delighted to be recognised with Silver Winner in Restoration Project of the Year for our completion of Brookfield Mill, Belfast.
This was the site of an old mill, which has now been brought to life again after lying vacant for 30 years. Now comprising 77 social residential units consisting of 55 Apartments and 22 Duplex homes. A project with several complex challenges to convert from a historic commercial use to a modern residential use, complete with regulatory challenges that required engineered solutions.
And taking Gold, Assistant Site Manager Charlotte Hassan was awarded Apprentice of the Year. An incredible accolade, winning from a tough finalist group across the UK.
Charlotte’s Apprenticeship included the completion of her first project as Apprentice Site Manager, totalling 90 units; 75 apartments and 15 houses. This project has been recently shortlisted for Project of the Year. Charlotte is currently working on a site of 120 units.
Congratulations to all involved in the awards and thank-you to the NBCA for the opportunity.
