CIH Award Win – Housing Team of the Year 2019
Our team that built Wakehurst Court, Harryville, Ballymena have been awarded Housing Team of the Year 2019!
The awards took place on Friday 22nd February delivered by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) at Titanic Belfast.
Our 48 home scheme in association with Mainline Contracts was delivered 5 months early for Clanmil Housing Association. During the project we also managed to squeeze in lots of time with local Primary School – Harryville PS Nursery and Nurture Units on site safety. The partnership we formed with the school also saw us coming Runner-Up in the UK wide Ivor Goodsite hoarding competition.
We are very proud to be recognised for the CIH Housing Team Award after Interim Director Paddy Gray stated;
“This year we received a record number of nominations and the judging panel had extremely difficult jobs.”
Furthermore, past CIH Chair and Judging Panel Chair Dan Corr added;
“Acknowledging excellence in housing is what the CIH awards are all about, but it’s no easy task to decide the winners.”
The CIH Awards gather the best in practice from across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, showcasing the amazing work and inspirational people seen in the housing sector every day. They set the standards for excellence in housing and related services across the island of Ireland.
Thank you to everyone involved in Wakehurst Court and our CIH Housing Team Award: Chartered Institute of Housing Northern Ireland / Ulster Bank / Harryville Primary School / Clanmil Housing Association / CMI Planners & Architecture Ltd / Mainline Contracts.
