Glenabbey in Skeoge, LondonDerry involved the construction of 383 social housing units for Fold Housing, now Radius Housing.

The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) shortlisted this Northern Irish social housing scheme in the UK wide “Excellence in Planning for Community and Wellbeing” award. The RTPI stated that the holistic design of the development, with high quality energy efficient homes, a play park and look out area will benefit the health and wellbeing of residents now and in the future.

These homes were built on a green field site requiring full infrastructure works, located off the Skeoge Road in Londonderry.

The social housing scheme is made up of Glenabbey Crescent, Glenabbey Street, Glenabbey Court, Glenabbey Drive, Glenabbey Mews, Glenabbey Park, Glenabbey Road and Glenabbey Square and are close to the city centre, local transport links and amenities.
