// Georgian Restoration
// Architect: PTAL
// Completion: June 2018

Our project in Mayfair involved the restoration of a Grade II listed townhouse. The £5million refurbishment of tired offices has brought the Georgian building back to its former glory, and original purpose, as a central London home.

Major structural alterations were required at the start of the project to minimise reverberation from the London underground. This included extensive underpinning to facilitate a reduced dig of the basement area.

Living areas were created in the lower floors for serving staff including a working kitchen. While the upper floors featured 3 bespoke kitchens and custom furniture, designed and manufactured by EHA at our state-of-the-art workshop in Eglinton, Derry.

Joinery fittings for several luxurious bathrooms and powder rooms were also created by the EHA joinery team. Floating marble and porcelain clad vanity units and sinks are some of the detailed joinery products that were installed. The client also requested that EHA produce fitted wardrobes within the 8 luxurious bedrooms in the property.

All works carried out were in strict accordance with the City of Westminster Conservation Officer to preserve the heritage of the building.
